On this Opening Crack we review FOUR IPAs from Breckenridge Brewery! We had a blast tasting and discussing these brews. Stand by for the usual shenanigans in long form as well taste, rate and have a good time. Prost!
Hey, and there's the opening crack. It's time for another episode of the opening crack where we taste and rank some epic brews. Just Damon and Brett in the house with me tonight. How's it going there? We're here. We kicked Phil out. Well, you make brews.
SPEAKER_00Are the brews always epic?
SPEAKER_01I think so. Oh, okay. I mean, at least at the start, and then we kind of determine how epic they are. That's the hope. We determine epicness on this show.
SPEAKER_02Until Damon gets disappointed. Sorry.
SPEAKER_01And that's how we kick the show off. Great. Tonight is a bit of a special night. So far in all of these episodes, we've only really ever done one beer. We have one beer, we talked about some DD with it. We do like our CR rating, all the fun things, but this is the first time that we're actually going to do multiple beers from the same brewery. So today we have four IPAs from Breckenridge Brewing. And a little bit about Breckenridge Brewery. Started in 1990 in Breckenridge, Colorado. If you couldn't have figured that one out. Oh. Yeah. Context clues, right?
SPEAKER_00How many Breckenridges do you think there are in the United States?
SPEAKER_01I'm I'm guessing just the one. He's gonna Google this. Google it. Let's find out.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna Google it, but you should keep Google. I should keep going.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I should keep going while you're Google.
SPEAKER_00Okay, that's this this one, though, I can just tell you. Uh how many Denvers do you think there are in the United States? Probably multiples. I feel like that's a more common name. Okay, but how many?
SPEAKER_01Well, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00But how many? A hundred. Oh, come on. Four. There's twelve. Oh. There's twelve Denvers. The more you know. I guess. The more you know.
SPEAKER_01So anyway, Breckenridge Brewing. Oh. Nine. Nine Breckinridge?
SPEAKER_02According to Google AI, yeah. There are nine places named Breckenridge in the U.S. Do we trust Gemini? No. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Ever since I switched it from bar to Gemini, we don't trust it. No, we don't trust it. Absolutely. No, not at all. Uh Breckenridge Brewing does have three locations now. Uh oh.
SPEAKER_02There's a Breckinridge, Nebraska?
SPEAKER_01Oh, on there. Breckinridge, Missouri, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas. I've never heard of Breckenridge, Nebraska.
SPEAKER_02I don't think this is real.
SPEAKER_01I don't think it exists.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay. What's the trust Gemini? Go back to Bard. Anyway, Breckenridge Brewing now has three locations. Their main the well, one of their main locations in Breckenridge, that's where the home brewery, the original one was. They have a 12-acre um area in Littleton that includes a 110-barrel uh brew house. And then they, I believe they just opened or semi-recently opened a another location in Fort Collins, correct? Yes. Okay. So I'm not getting too off. Far a thing. We barely know how many Brecon ridges there are in the United States. Well, apparently there's more than I thought, and there's one in Nebraska that I didn't know about. So what does that tell you?
SPEAKER_00What are the chances that any of these are in a plains state? There's not a single ridge anywhere in the state of Nebraska.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I don't know about that. There's some ridges. It's not like Kansas. You could bowl, you could roll a bowling ball across Kansas and still get an eight.
SPEAKER_00I think you're biased. I think you have an unmounted.
SPEAKER_02There's no such thing. There is no breaking ridge in Nebraska. I think it is a apartment complex. It's an apartment complex in Omaha. See? A ridge.
SPEAKER_01That is all I can find. It's really called broken ridge. It just is like, eh, close enough. So anyway, uh a little bit of a story on how we came to get um to doing this episode, really. And it it's it's kind of fun. It's complete happenstatch when happenstance, which I think is absolutely fantastic. Happenstatch. Yes, thank you. Uh so last year uh that's like when you accidentally have a mustache. You have it by happenstance.
SPEAKER_00Dad joke, check.
SPEAKER_01And you you are a dad now. So this is very appropriate. He's he's getting those bonus points.
SPEAKER_00It's like when you go on vacation and then come back. You got a happen stash. Well, there goes all the listeners.
SPEAKER_01All right, we'll see you next week, folks.
SPEAKER_00Uh, don't do that. You're on vacation and you're just like, nah, I'm not shaving or anything, I'm not trimming up.
SPEAKER_01You're talking to three guys with beards here. Like, I don't think any of us have shaved in the last decade.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, but like sometimes like you kind of keep a trim. You know.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, but I mean the status. You do that before you go.
SPEAKER_00But then you're out of the office for you know, like a week or two, and you're just like, I'm not messing with this at all.
SPEAKER_01No, sure. You're not gonna pack that.
SPEAKER_00I don't do that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you come back from home. It's like, what is it? Well, who cares? The mirror? You're a little unruly. I mean, I suppose your wife could be like You get what you get.
SPEAKER_00That's happen, Stash.
SPEAKER_01Uh learn something new on this one. I love it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Okay, continue. How did we get these beers?
SPEAKER_01Last summer, uh, I was at Fan Expo Denver, and uh Breckenridge Brewing actually is one of the sponsors of Fan Expo Denver, and they even brew a uh a beer specifically for the event. And last year was a Yuzu Wii, which was fantastic. Um, the first day we had taken my son, who's four years old, and him and my wife and my sister-in-law were kind of like um doing some things in the kids' area, and the Breckenridge brewing, they have this fantastic trailer that looks like a log home. It's really cool. Um, it's a little tap house. And I was like, you know, this is a perfect opportunity. They're busy. I'm gonna go get it. I'm gonna go get a beer. Yes, not my son, but for myself. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, okay.
SPEAKER_01Uh so I went over, I bought the glass, um, which was like Chewbacca on the glass. It was really cool. I'll have to show you.
SPEAKER_00Um it was in the shape of him, or he was just like screen printed on it.
SPEAKER_01No, the glass wasn't in the shape of him. No, no, no. It was like printed on there. It was it looked like a can, like the glass was like the can shape, like with a little bell. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got you. So I bought the glass, went in, got a glass of this Yuzi wheat, and I kind of stepped off to the side and I took a drink of this beer, and I it and let's keep in mind, this was a year ago, so my my details on this may be a little fuzzy. A lot of a lot of beer in between. Hazy? They could be hazy. Hey, there you go. Um, but I I I I remember this going like I took a drink of the beer and I was like, oh, this is really good. And there was a guy standing next to me, and he was like, Oh, he was, I'm sure this was a fantastic moment in his life. Yeah, uh, and his name was Aaron, and Aaron is still indeed. Uh Aaron is a beer troubadour for Breckenridge Brewing. And it's like, I took that drink and I said, Oh, this is a really good beer. And he was like, Yeah, I know. I I brewed it. And I was like, No, are you serious? And and I'm pretty maybe not quite that exaggerated, but it was something to that effect. And then we got to talking about you know beers, uh, because you know, beer is just a really good icebreaker for people, at least to me. Like it's it's just a common thing that people have. Like everybody's had a beer. Well, most people have had a beer, and it's something to talk about. If you're standing in Breckenridge's brewery's trailer, you've probably had a beer and we can connect on something.
SPEAKER_00You're in the beer line.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. And so we got to talking about beer.
SPEAKER_00The first beer I'm gonna have is at this fan con.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, but not not the case, probably. Probably. I don't know. You might be surprised. There may be people that had their first beer there. I don't know. Um, but anyway, we got to talking about like beers, and then one thing led to another because you're at Fan Expo. Like I told him that like we had a podcast where we we do some beer reviews, and he gave me his card, and then I did not have any cards, so I kind of felt like an idiot, but I gave him a couple of bars and barrel stickers, so hopefully he put those somewhere cool. Um, and then I was just like, hey, I'll reach out sometime, and then maybe we can figure out a way where we could we could do a show where we try some Breckenridge brewing beers, and that has led to this moment. So the the beers we're trying today are four IPAs. Um the the main one that we're trying is the juice drop IPA. That's their like main flagship IPA. Uh there's a version of this IPA that we're gonna try that's a grapefruit, one called Juicy Oasis, and one called Ridgerunner. Ridgerunner is a West Coast IPA. So we're gonna kind of go through these, we'll talk a little bit about the beer, and we'll do some tasting as we go through. So, anything, I mean, I guess you guys weren't there, so it's not like you can add to my story. No, we weren't there. Any other mustache jokes before we move on?
SPEAKER_00How many other people do you think that he did that to in the line?
SPEAKER_01I'm guessing not many.
SPEAKER_00Just assume. Well, like what are you- I don't think after he left, he just like stood there waiting for like three more. Another beer podcast. Oh gosh, this is so good.
SPEAKER_01Well, somebody probably else. Oh really? I just like had a beer with somebody, not me just like yakking his ear off about my DD podcast that I have. Because I do that to a lot of people. Are we gonna taste some beer? Yeah, let's let's taste some beer. So let's start with the the juice drop IPA, their flagship beer. Now, this is uh described as being a hazy IPA.
SPEAKER_02Coming in at 7% on the I uh yeah, 7%, and then IBUs come in at 60.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, that's pretty bitter. Bitterness definitely comes, like just kind of hangs around there at the end. Ross, what do you say? Is that what you have in your glass is the hazy? Yes. Okay, yes, like you can definitely see the difference in the difference in clarity. Oh yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, hazy. Yep, you're right. 100%. Um the the official description on Breckenridge Brewing's website, soft lush, intensely juicy are hazy IPAs, bursting with hoppy aroma and flavor to intensify the tropical hop layers without adding bitterness. We dropped in an experimental hop known as HBC472. The result is a pleasant complexity with bold flavors of citrus and coconut. I don't really pick up coconut. Does anybody else pick up coconut? Citrus, I always get citrus and IPAs, and I and I know that comes from the hops, but this is this is a good IPA.
SPEAKER_02This is I do like it. This is like when you think IPA that's not gonna knock your socks off in like a overly sharp bitterness way. That's where I I think of this one. In a good way. Like it's smooth, refreshing, crisp.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can I can definitely see that for sure.
SPEAKER_00I was gonna say I don't think that I would describe it as soft in that sort of way. Uh but then I had another taste of it. You know, because I'm willing to re-examine my opinions and thoughts. I think the for the first hit of it, yeah, it is soft in that in that sort of a sort of way.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00I've never heard a beer described as soft before.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00But I do think the bitterness comes through at the on the aftertaste to me.
SPEAKER_01I I I do think the the bitterness at the end is is sharp, not in an off-putting way, but it it does, it does sit there on the back of your palate and it it really hammers it out.
SPEAKER_00But it doesn't, you know, it's like sometimes you drink an IPA and it your mouth feels drier. Oh, yes, yeah. More dry. Yeah. After you have to do that. That's where I think the soft comes in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. It doesn't.
SPEAKER_01That it's not as stringent. I would agree. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_02I would say this is a very approachable IPA.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, I think so. Um on their website for each of their beers, they have a section called the Deets, and it's it's basically this chart where they they show color, uh, whether it's multi or hoppy, and then whether it's session or strong. And this one is like right down the middle. And I think the other ones we try all tend to be toward the strong end. This one is literally drop dead middle between a session and a strong beer. And I I get that. Other than that sharpness at the end, which is really just that lingering bitterness, I don't it's a good beer. It's nice, well-rounded.
SPEAKER_00Lovely. Yeah. And if you had this and you could eat like a little piece of cheese after each drink, do you have a specific cheese you'd like to have with this one? Gouda?
SPEAKER_01Sure. Smoked or not?
SPEAKER_00Oh, smoked.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I love smoked. That sounds gouda to me. Uh so let's let's stick around in the same family. How many dad does can we get this episode? Oh my god, help us all. It was. That was gonna be pretty good. That was pretty good. It was pretty gouda on social media. So bad. So bad. Okay, so let's let's go to let's stick in the same family. Let's let's try the grapefruit juice drop hazy IPA.
SPEAKER_02So it's like the sibling to the other one.
SPEAKER_01Correct, yes. And like a variant. Correct. And right off the bat, like the aroma, it like the grapefruit is strong and it makes me think of squirt. Like it smells like squirt to me. Which makes sense because squirt is a grapefruit soda.
SPEAKER_00It's been a very long time since I've had a squirt.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you are missing out, my friend.
SPEAKER_02I like this one. I like grapefruit though.
SPEAKER_01I I do too.
SPEAKER_02My wife would not like this one at all. This one is a grapefruit fan.
SPEAKER_01I I find this one interesting. I don't think the bitterness lingers as long on the back of your palate on this one. Am I crazy?
SPEAKER_00No, I think the grapefruit sort of covers it up a little bit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, sure. So it just helps it tail off a little bit.
SPEAKER_00I'd be curious to know where the grapefruit flavor is coming from.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00Like, is it coming from a tree? An extra from Florida? Is it coming from Arizona? Cuba, perhaps. Argentina, maybe. Somewhere warm. That's where a lot of our melons come from. Um, at least the ones that don't come from Muscatine, Iowa. Uh is it coming from an extract? Sure. Feels more like it's coming from an extract, sure, maybe, than uh than like from a puree puree. I don't think it's not from a puree. Right. Um, but maybe it is. I I don't know.
SPEAKER_01So so the description on this one says introducing juice drop hazy IPA grapefruit. Soft, citrusy, and intensely juicy. This newest addition to the Juice Drop family is bursting with a unique combination of tartness and sweetness. These zesty qualities are balanced by hoppy aroma and flavor you know and love from from fan favorite juice drop hazy IPA.
SPEAKER_02You know, back to that, where does the grapefruit come from? I I don't think of this as a too much of an artificial grapefruit flavor, though. Like you get with some artificial flavors. Like this one is I agree. It could go either way. I uh I could see it either way.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think it's a nice variation on the juicy juicy drip, juicy drop, juice drop.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Juice drop. Mm-hmm. Uh I assume it's m it probably doesn't say this on the website. I assume it's made with the same base, same hop. Probably. It doesn't say, but is my guess, and then add add some grapefruit flavor in one shape or form.
SPEAKER_01So interestingly, uh I IBUs are the same. Sure. Um and it makes sense because it probably is a very similar base. The grapefruit covering up that little bit of lingering bitterness going on. Uh it is slightly, very slightly higher in ABV as a 7.1 versus a 7. So probably it's probably negligible. Batch to batch even. Yeah, for sure. I mean it's pretty negligible, I would assume. So um so let's keep moving. Why not? Uh let's let's let's move to the juicy oasis IPA.
SPEAKER_02This one looks interesting. This is a fruited hazy IPA coming in at a whopping 9.6 on the Richter scale.
SPEAKER_01Is is that high for an IPA or do IPAs run the gambit uh in terms of ABVs?
SPEAKER_00Uh I'd say that's that's probably you're on the high side. On the can, they make the 9.6 real big.
SPEAKER_01Sure, yeah. Like they're showing off that this one has some.
SPEAKER_02So this one is brewed with agave nectar as one of like as one of the features listed on the can.
SPEAKER_01Which I guess would make sense because I mean potentially that could be leading to some of your higher alcohol content in the beer, extra sweetness for yeast to go after, depending on when they add it in the process, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. More sugar, more alcohol. That's the that's the general rule. So if they're adding the sugar in time for the yeast to eat it, then then yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh the uh official description of this one says, attention, all IPA enthusiasts, your quest for the ultimate brew is over. Allow us to introduce the sensational juicy oasis fruited hazy IPA. With a bold 9.6 ABV, this beer delivers an exhilarating punch like no other. Embrace the taste of paradise with a luscious tropical essence, blending the succulent flavors of pineapple and passion fruit. The result, a harmonious libation, boasting a rich mouthfeel that will leave your taste buds enchanted. Say hello to your new favorite IPA, the Juicy Oasis. Cheers to pure indulgence. Somebody found a thesaurus.
SPEAKER_02There's that's a lot of work.
SPEAKER_01Uh this one, this one packs a punch. I I don't feel like I get like an alcohol, like a strong alcohol punch to it, though. Oh no, I wouldn't say that. Um it's very mellow, it's not sharp on the palate to me.
SPEAKER_02It's very fruity.
SPEAKER_01Very fruity, yeah. I I think that I definitely get pineapple. I'm not a huge fan of passion fruit, but it's probably in there somewhere. I just don't even eat it enough of it to probably take that flavor out.
SPEAKER_00I do not like this beer. Sure. I don't and I'm not, I guess I'm probably not an IPA enthusiast in the way that the way that the write-up describes it.
SPEAKER_01You're a barrel-aged dark beer person.
SPEAKER_00And also it may be because of a particular sort of bias that I have. And that bias is that I hate going to the dentist.
SPEAKER_01Okay, timeout. Please explain. Yeah. Where are we going with this one?
SPEAKER_00I don't know if you guys have any cavities or have ever had any cavities. We've been around the block, sure. Yeah. What this reminds me of is when you are getting a cavity, they first give you like the pre-numbing agent before they give you the actual shot.
SPEAKER_01Sure, like the gel stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yes. That has that sort of like artificial, sort of fruity flavor and aroma to it.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00If you are you familiar at all with it, I don't know if you're familiar at all with what I'm talking about. This to me tastes like that. Interesting.
SPEAKER_01So you're predisposed to disliking this one right off the bat.
SPEAKER_02I don't get that connection at all. Like I can I can think about that flavor, but not this.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I mean, and they took they did they take that little cotton swab thing. Sure. And they're like, I'm gonna numb it up a little bit first. And they put that there and they just let it sit there. And you're like, oh god, this is for a little bit, and then they pull it out. That's what this is reminding me. I mean, I can certainly see why that's triggering. In this beer's defense, might just be me. I think that's just you because I might be. I certainly don't think it's that offensive.
SPEAKER_02This is this is not a daemon beer. This is one though I would say needs to be paired with a really good food. Like it would be out Hello, Dungeon Dog. There's Coop. Uh this would be really good with uh like a fish taco or yeah, I can see that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Some sort of fresh tropical edge sort of.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I I could totally go for that. And it's like this one, this one on that session strong, this one does lean toward a strong.
SPEAKER_00Interestingly enough, what you literally like when I taste it, I feel like my tongue is going numb. I think I'm just having PTSD.
SPEAKER_01Yep. If if you're out there and you have a similar experience to Damon, please, please email us just so I can tell Damon he's not the only one. That that's really what I want to do. Uh, I I do find it interesting while Damon was was telling us about his dentist, uh, his his problems with his dentist. That uh while I didn't taste a super strong alcohol flavor, when you smell it, I do feel like you smell like a little bit of alcohol. Like that 9.6 comes through a little stronger there. I don't know if I don't know. I I don't is it Novocaine?
SPEAKER_02Is that what it is?
SPEAKER_01That's the shot. It's whatever comes before. I mean, if you're if you're tasting pineapple and passion fruit when they give you the strong f let us know. Is is that is that numbing gel pineapple passion fruit? Please let us know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's the stuff, it's the whatever they give you before the actual shot. Dr.
SPEAKER_01Brown, phone us in. Message us, we'll send Damon a little tube just for funsies.
SPEAKER_00It's just like wait till the next episode. Supposed to like convince you, oh, this is actually gonna be kind of fun. No, it's gonna be the happy game. You're just like, oh no, this is give me the shot.
SPEAKER_01I don't how do I what are we doing? No, I I I mean, end of the day, I I don't of this group, it's not my favorite one, but it's not bad. I I don't I agree with you, Brett. I think you pair this with something like a taco, I think it would be good.
SPEAKER_00It would be on the same hand, on the other hand, I suppose I I think I could also see how this how this could be someone's favorite of these. It's not for me. But I could see how it could be someone's favorite of these IPAs.
SPEAKER_02And it would also affect what you have before it. If you have a beer before this one, this should be wildly different one way or another.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I finished that other one off. Yeah. Yeah, like if if what you just had was a more sort of straightforward IPA, or if that's sort of what you're looking for as a more straightforward IPA, then then this IPA is is not for you. But if you are looking for something a little bit sort of more off the wall bonus crack. Bonus crack. With a little bit more going on in it, then Yeah, then this what I don't remember what it's called. Pineapple greatness. I mean oasis. Juicy Oasas.
SPEAKER_01Juicy Oasis. I mean, it's one of those things where it's like, if you're not a huge and we'll take taste the Ridge Runner here in a minute, but it's like if you're not if IPAs aren't necessarily your thread thing, the juice drop and the Ridge Runner are pretty standard IPAs. So you may shy away from those. If you don't like grapefruit, you're pretty much left with one flavor option here to try if you're being adventurous. And it's gonna be that one. So I could see somebody who's not typically an IPA drinker going after the juicy oases just because it has some different flavors in it. And it's not it's it can mask some of the IPA bitterness and stuff like that for sure.
SPEAKER_00See, this is where that uh what do we call it?
SPEAKER_01Approachability role the challenger, which we will get to later. The approachability role. I'm gonna I'm gonna call it that in games now. Let's roll approachability. I love it.
SPEAKER_00Like this is where that becomes a more interesting conversation.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I guess you're gonna rate this lower on approachability than I will.
SPEAKER_01Probably.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And that that's gonna be fun. We can argue about that when we get there. Stay tuned. Stand by. Not arguing. We're just you're right. And that's gonna happen in like five minutes. So just wait. All right, what's next? Okay, so this last one is called Ridgerunner. It is a West Coast IPA. This one comes in at a 7.4%, and then they actually don't list an IBU for this one. Uh, so go ahead and have a taste while you're doing that. I will read the description, which goes thusly. Introducing Ridge Runner West Coast IPA. I don't know where that came from. I just kind of pulled that out of nowhere. Ivy League over here. May not even be a word, but you know what? We're gonna roll with it.
SPEAKER_00You know the haze, they say Hastings is the Harvard of the Midwest.
SPEAKER_01That's true, you know. But we're so classless in Nebraska, according to the next one.
SPEAKER_00There's no class, no classy. No classy schools. What a hater. Nobody'll get that.
SPEAKER_01Is that gonna stay in? I don't know. We'll find out. Ridgerunner West Coast IPA, a bold and adventurous double dry, hopped brew inspired by the untamed beauty of Colorado's trails. Our hotback infuses flavor from whole cone hops to build a complex body and enticing aroma. In addition, a double dose of citraleupulin powder is added, creating a fresh hoppy dominance with notes of bright citrus and pine crafted for those who seek the thrill of adventure and the reward of a well-earned sip. Grab a ridge runner and toast the trailless trail less travel travel, not trailless English. There is a space there that my brain did not recognize.
SPEAKER_02My bad. Uh this is what I think of when I think IPA.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this strikes me as a very straightforward IPA.
SPEAKER_02It's got a full mouthfeel. Like this fills your palate.
SPEAKER_01I I find it more soft, using terms that they've used, than the juice drop. This one does not, this one has no lingering bitterness. Like I don't feel it in the back of my tongue like I do on the juice drop. I would agree to that. I like both, don't get me wrong. But this one, this one is slightly different because of that.
SPEAKER_02It's definitely more like earthy. I think that's the pine coming through where it's got a just a little bit of like a little bit more Colorado to it.
SPEAKER_01Sure, yeah. Uh this one colorful Colorado. This one comes in at a seven, oh, did we say this already? 7.4% IB ABV. No, we haven't.
SPEAKER_00Well, Brett and I didn't say it. You might have said it.
SPEAKER_01Uh I think I did say it because I mentioned that there's no IBU listed for this, so I may have said this twice already. But there, but the ABV is 7.4%. Uh I I don't get like a strong alcohol. It's a very smooth, smooth drink.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And that is maybe a little on the high side for the style. I don't have my style guide in front of me.
SPEAKER_01Um, but it's getting up there. Interesting thing is, is like uh how we talked about how they have their the deeds section on their website on the session versus strong beers. This one leans toward the strong, whereas the juice juice drop was right in the middle. I I I would flip them to be honest. I think this one is more in the middle between the two in terms of like drinkability.
SPEAKER_00But what's the AB but what's the ABV on the juice drops?
SPEAKER_01Juice drop seven versus this is seven point four. So they're they're pretty close to each other.
SPEAKER_00Um so session beer, my understanding historically is that a session beer is comes, I think, from England where like the midday work break was referred to as session.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00And so like you could go and have a session beer and it was low enough in alcohol content that then you could go back to work without feeling the effects.
SPEAKER_01Why did why is this still a tradition?
SPEAKER_02Because if it's not, it should be. But this one comes in at 7.4.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, which would say that it's farther away from being a session beer than than the other. Than the one in seven. You know what I'm saying? Right. Because like a session beer would be like four to five percent probably.
SPEAKER_02Is that because maybe they watered it down a little bit more back in the day?
SPEAKER_00Uh or they just didn't brew it as strong.
SPEAKER_02Like sure.
SPEAKER_00You know, like an American everything's lower. Yeah, like an American style lager is you know, like four percent or like four or two percent, something like that. Sure.
SPEAKER_01Um so it's still double the accords if we're staying in the breweries in Colorado. Sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So like uh 7% beer, I'm not sure that I would consider it to be a session beer, but sure.
SPEAKER_01Well, and and and based on what they're saying, it's not a session beer. It would definitely mean to have strong.
SPEAKER_00I mean, of the four, this is by far my favorite.
SPEAKER_01I I think so too. And we didn't talk about this, but I think let's let's like our favorites rank rank these four beers. Like what what which one we'll come back and do CRs and stuff later, but but like if you were to say this is my number one, two, three, four, and I'll even go first. I think Ridge Runner is number one for me.
SPEAKER_02The fourth one.
SPEAKER_01Um, yeah, yes, yeah. So the one we just tried is number one. Uh, juice drop, the very first one we tried is number two, probably a close second. The the hazy IPA, the well, they're both hazy IPAs, the grapefruit version of juice drop is third. Those three are pretty tight, and then the juicey oasis is a little farther back. I don't mind it, but it's not close to the top three in my mind. There's a gap in there. You could fit a whole other beer in there.
SPEAKER_00What beer would you fit in there? I I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I want to try more Breckenridge brews to figure out which one goes in that gap.
SPEAKER_00They have an amber, looks like it's probably pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that would probably fit in there nicely, actually. Be a little more malty versus hoppy, but fit in there nicely.
SPEAKER_02Brett, what do you what do you feel? I'm trying to decide which is my top one. And I I'm torn between like there's their flagship juice drop and the Ridgerunner. I think we're all kind of in that same boat, but um I think that would just come down to what I'm in the mood for. If I want more of a classic IPA, Ridge Runner is where I would go. If I want something a little bit more smooth and mellow, I would go juice drop.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I think that's they were really close in my book, so I can't I can't disagree with you.
SPEAKER_02Uh and then the other two would be following those two. Um the grapefruit one, probably a little bit ahead. Um, I would drink all four of them though.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'd go Ridge Runner one, uh Juice Drop two, juice drop grapefruit three. I guess like there's for me, there's a pretty significant distance between juice drop and juice drop grapefruit. He can take that up with his dentist. And then juicy oasis is somewhere uh somewhere else.
SPEAKER_01His dentist is at the dentist.
SPEAKER_00That's probably the problem.
SPEAKER_01I I I I I think I think they're all decent.
SPEAKER_00But I will say, like all of these my compliments to Breckenridge Brewery, all of these are seem to be quality brews. Um I trust that all of these are what they intended to make when they set out to make them.
SPEAKER_01So they're excellent. Yeah. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00I think they're all good. They're just not all for me.
SPEAKER_02Which is to be expected. Yeah, that is everybody has their own taste, and that's to be expected.
SPEAKER_01Right. And I think that kind of boils down to like Brett, you and I trying to juggle which one's number one, which one's number two. And it really comes down to how you feel and what that day. Because it's really just the matter of slightly smoother on the on the the ridge runner and then the juice drop having that just little bit of lingering bitterness, which which is full of IP. Yeah, you you yeah, you think the other one's smooth. I you and I have yeah. We're just backwards on those two, but they're still our top two. Correct, yeah. And like I said, I I'm pretty dang close on them at the same same rate. So all right, so let's let's bring a little D D back in this. We're gonna do something a little different than our normal uh what we usually do is we come up with a beer name and a and a pub name for these, but instead this time we're gonna we're gonna do something a little different. Since we have four of these, we're gonna do like a party makeup. Like, so we're gonna assign a class to each of these.
SPEAKER_02Uh and then So IPA is your your species. Your species, if you will, yeah. And then we're gonna assign a class to each one of these. Yes. So starting off, we'll go in the same order. So the juice drop, this the flagship, where would you put that one?
SPEAKER_01Well, see, here's the problem because you and I disagree on like the the slight differences between these two. I think the juice drop is a barbarian.
SPEAKER_00What's a barbarian?
SPEAKER_01So like a barbarian fighter, smash, smash people in the face, rage. Like just it's now the first word on the little description smooth, soft, soft. Oh, yeah, soft. Barbarian can be soft and smooth on occasion, I suppose.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Uh Bret has something else. Brett is thinking he's leaned back in his chair. Arm over his head. He has thinking eyes. Play by play.
SPEAKER_01Left arm. Smiling, looking at the ceiling.
SPEAKER_02What could this be? I thought barbarian at first too, but now it's gotta be more of a smooth talker.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Some sort of silver-tongued, um maybe a maybe a roguish sort of uh charisma character. Charisma character. Rogues. It's like a warlock or something. Oh, they don't like to talk.
SPEAKER_01Rogues don't like to talk. Like this, we need Phil here. Everything would be a rogue. This would be Ari. So warlock.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Sure. Ari is Brett's character. Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Steven's like, who the hell's Ari? It's a plus 15 persuasion. Just can talk you out of your pants. No, thank you. He will walk away with anything you want.
SPEAKER_01I I don't disagree with that. I I think that's that's pretty accurate. It can have a sharp edge to him. Charming. Charming for sure.
SPEAKER_00In a certain kind of a way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I I agree with that. So I know a lot of charming barbarians.
SPEAKER_01A warlock there. He's not a barbarian.
SPEAKER_02He's a warlock. So grapefruit. Juice drop grapefruit.
SPEAKER_00Druid? Yeah. Um. Why druid? What do you think? What are you thinking?
SPEAKER_02Uh, a little bit more like natural, fruity, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Less sharp, more rounded edges.
SPEAKER_00More connected to the earth, you're saying. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Not like it's in earthy tones, because this beer does not have earthy tones.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no.
SPEAKER_01Let's just be just to be clear.
SPEAKER_00Well, no, but grapefruit is very of the earth.
SPEAKER_02Sure. Yes. But not all the way to like uh the next one coming up. The juicy oasis, which hands down is a bard. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Flamboyant. Very eccentric. In your face fruitiness.
SPEAKER_00Yes. That's the juicy oasis, you're saying. Yes. Bard.
SPEAKER_01And then Ridge Runner. This would this would be Yo sticks. Phil's not here. Phil's Phil's not here. Well, what is Yostix? Yo stick. Yo Stix is a cleric.
SPEAKER_00That's what you yelled at your buddy when you're going to play a stick ball.
SPEAKER_01He's definitely a bard. Yo sticks is a Yostix is a flamboyant cleric, but no, but this is definitely a bard. I I agree with that. And then Ridgerunner, uh, which is a West Coast IPA. I I think this is like your lawful good. This is I think it's a paladin. Like this is like Yeah. Uh yeah, I don't know. Pretty straightforward. It's it's not as charismatic as the juice drop. But and that's okay. Of all of these, are we gonna get a job done?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Well, I would say like this is the one you know what this is going to be. Uh it is not And that fits the paladin. Yeah. It's not gonna present any falsehoods to you, or really any surprises. You know how it is going to act and react, and like it's a very known quantity, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_01You know what's amazing is like you are not necessarily a DD player. You have played with us. Yeah, you very well you very you did a really good job of describing the paladin with your description just now, actually.
SPEAKER_02That was my goal.
SPEAKER_01You've been on enough episodes to know what we're talking about, yes. Uh what other thoughts do we have? I I I mean that kind of fits their alignment in a lot of ways. Like the the the bar's gonna be somewhat chaotic. The the paladin's gonna be lawful good right down the middle. This is what you expect, and it does the job that it's it needs to do.
SPEAKER_00It's very straightforward.
SPEAKER_02The juice drop would be chaotic good? Slightly true neutral, maybe?
SPEAKER_01I I don't know if it's neutral good.
SPEAKER_02I I could go either way.
SPEAKER_01I I go neutral good. I I don't think it's true neutral. I don't know what a true neutral beer would be.
SPEAKER_00I was I was supposed it would depend. Make a lobe ultra. It would vary by style. Like right? Sure. Like a true neutral American lager. Like you could have a true neutral American lager. Oh that would be different than a true neutral porter.
SPEAKER_01That's a fair one.
SPEAKER_00Like in a true neutral IPA would be different still than a true neutral amber ale.
SPEAKER_02Sure.
SPEAKER_00I I do agree with that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And then the juice drop grapefruit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's good. I I think so. I I mean it's what you expect with a little bit of flair to it. Yeah. Almost. A little more playful.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01In that sort of a way. I like the it's like, hold my beer.
SPEAKER_02Hold my beer. Hold my beer and watch this.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yes, I love that. Okay, okay, so let's um let's talk about challenge ratings for each of these. So so this is based on a scale of one to 20, which is a typical DD scale. One in our challenge rating would be like a domestic cream ale, some something, you know, think and think of like very chill beers. A 20 would be Imperial Stouts, double IPAs, very strong beers that are hard to approach. Now the question is, because Damon always asks this when it comes to him, is like if this beer, oh no, that's the yay or nay. Okay, so I'm getting ahead of my head of myself here.
SPEAKER_02This is our is it like if for a new beer drinker or somebody who is coming into this with some experience drinking crafty beers.
SPEAKER_01Correct. So this is like I I would say new beer drinkers, like which of these? And you're certainly welcome to give your own CR rating for all of these, but the general question is for new beer drinkers.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. Are you my no?
SPEAKER_01I'm just looking at I'm just looking at you. Uh let's start with juice drop. The first one. Let's start with juice drop.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Um, it is an IPA. I'd say 14. Okay. It's for you personally. That that's for like it's up there solely because it's an IPA. Sure. This is an approachable IPA.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_01Now for you personally, what would you rank it? Oh. Five. Yeah. I I I yeah. Uh for me, for newer craft beer drinkers, this one I and this is gonna be like our flip-flopping of these. I think this is a 16. It's slight, I find it to be a little more lingering on the palette, which I think people new to IPAs are not gonna care for. So I rate it a little bit higher than a 16. Personally, I like this one. I think this is a a five. It's it's I I have to remember we're doing four of these. This is not arbitrary with one beer, so I gotta make sure my scale is appropriate in your life. It's a five for me.
SPEAKER_00Damon? Well, now we're giving two numbers. What do we say?
SPEAKER_01We done confused it. So your first one is for for beer, new beer drinkers, like new getting out of the domestics and trying craft beers. Okay.
SPEAKER_00So that that's little baby beer drinkers.
SPEAKER_01That's the most important one. And then for you personally, where's this one?
SPEAKER_00Little and idiot babied beer drinkers. Beer 101.
SPEAKER_01Idiot baby beer drinkers. That's seems a little harsh. I would say what did you say? If you're jumping in with these, I mean, I know there are people that come into crack brewers all across the co crack breweries all across the country and go, what do you have that's light?
SPEAKER_02What's the lightest thing? What's the lightest thing you got? What's the thing that's most like a course light? This is a college student coming in that just pounded a glass of water 30 pack of bush light and is ready to try a IPA.
SPEAKER_01I feel like Bush is is a step up, probably drinking natty or keystone. True.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I would let's say 12. Okay, yeah. I think that's fair. For this, somewhere, somewhere towards the middle. I um yeah, somebody who's if if this is your first step into that, then that's it's gonna wake you up a little bit, I suppose. Sure. Yeah. For you personally. Uh for me personally. Uh this approachability? That's what? Yes. Like it's like, yes. How easy is it for me to drink this? Correct. Okay, got it. I'm gonna say maybe a six. Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_01We're all closer. Yeah, we're we're in the same ballpark, which is can be unusual if you've listened to the show quite a while. Uh okay, so let's stick in the same family. Let's talk about the grapefruit run now. Um, I would say, I'll go first this time. I would say the grapefruit one is slightly lower. This one is gonna be like in the 14, 1314 range for me for a new one. It the the lingering bitterness went away because of the grapefruit, but it's still a solid IPA, a very good IPA. So I'd say 1314. Personally, this one drops a little bit. This is a four. I I like it. Like I said, it's it's squirt. It's it's the alcoholic version of squirt.
SPEAKER_00It's easier for you.
SPEAKER_01Yes, 100%.
SPEAKER_00Man, I don't know. I would say I would put this this is the grapefruit juicy juice drop. Juice drop, yes, grapefruit juice drop. IPA. I uh okay, for an idiot baby beer drinker, I would say for someone who's not used to complexity, if I put the other one at a twelve, let's say that this is uh uh fourteen.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Uh just it has more going on.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I could I could also see like sorry, you've Finish your thought. I was just gonna say if you don't like grapefruits, you're probably gonna think this is higher than you're not gonna like this at all.
SPEAKER_02You're not gonna pick this one if you don't like grapefruit.
SPEAKER_01Right. It's like a pickle beer. If you don't like pickles, you're never gonna try a pickle beer. It's always gonna be that 20.
SPEAKER_02Um anyway. I'm gonna go lower on this one. I'm gonna go 11. Just because I think the group fruit, grape, group fruit, the group fruit, all together. The grapefruit makes it more approachable uh and masks some of the IPA-ness.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I could see that too. I can see that. Yeah, yeah. At the same time that I was putting it higher, I could also see putting it lower. Depends on the person you're recommending it to.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Right. Okay, so let's juicy oasis. The fruited hazy IPA, the agave nectar one.
SPEAKER_00This is this is tough for me because this is Damian. This is not a pleasant taste for me. For an idiot baby beer drinker.
SPEAKER_01Um thank you for listening. Like and subscribe.
SPEAKER_00I on I honestly, I honestly don't know what number to put for this. For the same reasons, I could see those sweeter sort of agave flavors being making someone feel that the beer is more approachable. And I could also see like from myself, that makes it less approachable. Like I don't I don't want I don't want that. I don't need that in my beer. Um boy, so um I still have to put I'm what did I say, 14 for the other one? Yeah, let's go 15 then. I don't know. Yeah, I think that's fair.
SPEAKER_02I would think I would go more like a 10. Sure. This one, I because I would go the other way and say, this is I would recommend this to somebody who'd like one of those uh margaronas. Okay, like a margarita with a corona dipped in it. Sure. Okay. I could see somebody that likes those liking this.
SPEAKER_00Yep, I could totally see that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You have a personal one for that? Um same. Ten. Uh I I agree with the 10. Uh, while you guys were talking, I even bounced around an eight. Uh in terms of IPAs, I think this is extremely interesting for me because it to me it's almost getting out of the IPA. It's still definitely an IT IPA by style, but it's starting the flavors are so strong. Those that pineapple in there, which if you're not an IPA drinker, this is fantastic for you because it doesn't have a lot of that bitterness. That pineapple and that passion fruit are really pulling their weight in there. It it's I I'm gonna go with an eight for uh little baby beer drinker. For for me, idiot baby. I'm trying to be a little nicer. Uh for personally, I I I I would say this is a 10 or a 12, only because it's like I agree with you, Damon. Like, this is not my I like I want beer beers, and this is not necessarily in that group. It's good, it it's what it needs, it's what was intended of it. It's just a little farther up the scale for me.
SPEAKER_02So finally, Ridge Runner, the West Coast IPA, the one with a little bit of pininess to it. Where do we come in at?
SPEAKER_01Um, so this is gonna move back up the scale. I think this is a little closer than the juice drop because the the bitterness to at least to me does not seem to linger on your palate as long. So I think this is this is like a 12 for idiot baby beer drinker. We'll go back to that. For me personally, I think this is one of my favorite IPAs I've had. Like, I've had a lot of IPAs, because especially when like craft beer started really becoming a thing, and you'd go to like everybody. Everybody had an IPA, right? And so, so this is a fantastic example of just a nice, smooth, very complex beer for me personally. This is a one. I would drink this with anything, I would buy a 12-pack of that beer.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna go a 15 higher than any of the others for me. Wow. Uh, just because I would not recommend an IPA to who some anyone who is starting to drink beer.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, I I agree with that 100%.
SPEAKER_02Like 15 might be too low. And this is like this is a a signature IPA.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yes.
SPEAKER_02And to somebody new, I would tell them to avoid that. To me, absolutely, I'm just gonna buy some more of this. Like this is an excellent IPA.
SPEAKER_00It's interesting because um I didn't learn I'll I'll get there eventually. I didn't learn how to swim until I was like in my twenties.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00But I took swim lessons when I was uh a small child, and one of the things that they did was is like put floaties on my arms and then threw me off the high dive.
SPEAKER_01I knew it was somebody was gonna survive or die.
SPEAKER_00Right? And like that you're talking about like I wouldn't someone who's sort of new to craft beer or to different styles of beer, I would never recommend to them an IPA period end of sentence. Right? Almost regardless of what else is in it. And at the same time, like that is a strategy of like okay, I'm gonna throw you into the deep end and you're gonna try this thing, then after that, let's have like an amber ale. Imperial stamps. Okay, where do you really lead? Or something like that. Um, so in terms of uh approach, I guess I'd probably put this maybe at a 10. Um in terms of challenge rating, I suppose. I mean it yeah, there's more going on, it's more complex than than a lot of other styles of beer. It's I think that's a a really good representation of of the style. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Our challenge rating is kind of like the points on whose line, it's just it's they're all made up. Points are made up, but it don't matter who that's absolutely right.
SPEAKER_00And also like challenge for every person is individual.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Absolutely, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Right? Like it's harder for me to edit a podcast than it is for you. Sure. Yeah. Right? Right. So my challenge rating, I would need a higher number to pass that correct test than you would.
SPEAKER_01Sure. And you're right. I I I do agree with Brett that uh generally speaking, if I'm introducing somebody to craft beers, I'm not gonna give them an IPA. But but I see to your point, Damon, the Ridge Runner is pretty mellow in terms of IP. Like it's a good example of an IPA, but it is not abrasive in a lot of ways. It yeah, like it's just it's it's very good. And I I I find that absolutely fantastic. But at the same at the same rate, you know, we've had cream alees and various things that have had yeast in them that make them seem banana-y and type things like that, like flavors that are not necessarily common in beers, which in that case, you know, it it comes back to the same thing. So, what what beer style would you introduce to a uh somebody who's new to crap beers? I I don't know the answer to that. Depends on what they like, yeah. And and that, and and that's the thing. I thought it really comes down to you know who's at the bar that night that can really like make a connection, talk to them and say, hey, what is it that you like? What do you like? If you like grapefruits, maybe the the grapefruit juice drop would be fantastic for you, kind of thing. So so there's there's different approaches to this, absolutely. Okay, so now we've approached the yay or nay part of tonight. We're gonna do this as a group. Let's not do this by like as a group of IPAs. And when we talk to Damon, we're gonna exclude the tropical. You can have a pass.
SPEAKER_00Yay or nay. I'm happy to have special treatment.
SPEAKER_01If these beers were put in front of you again, would you drink them? Uh, and feel free to extrapolate however you like. That is a an actual word in a uh big one, thesaurus. Hey, let's start with hashtag thesaurus.
SPEAKER_00Start one at me like I don't know the word extrapolate.
SPEAKER_01I no, it was like you mentioned earlier like somebody got out this is the thesaurus. I was like, now I'm using an actual word.
SPEAKER_02Let's start with juice drop, the signature one, like the original plain juice drop.
SPEAKER_01Oh, so you do want to go by beer. I thought we were doing it as a group. Oh, okay. No, we can do it by beer. That's it. Let's go by beer.
SPEAKER_00It won't take long. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Juice drop.
SPEAKER_01Yay.
SPEAKER_02Yay. Yay. Yep. Uh the juice drop grapefruit. Yay. Nay.
SPEAKER_00Which again, I don't I'm not saying that that is a judgment on the quality of the beer.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying I don't feel the Yay if you like grapefruit.
SPEAKER_00I don't feel the need to have another one. Sure. So it's a nay for me.
SPEAKER_02Yay with the right food. Sure, sure. Same with Juicy Oasis for me.
SPEAKER_01What do you guys say?
SPEAKER_02That's a nay for me.
SPEAKER_01I I shocker. I say nay only because of where I'm at in my craft beer journey. Like, I I am I am past the point of cream ales and things like there's a lot of cream ales that five years ago I would have been like, oh, these are amazing. And now I'm like, uh I would prefer an IPA.
SPEAKER_02So I I but still he insists on picking up any pickle beer he can find.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, there may be some other reasons.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's what like I don't think it's necessarily about like being past it. Sure. I think it's about being more aware of like these are my tastes. Sure. And these are the things that I prefer. And I don't think that I need to try any more cream ales. Right. Right? Or like I know like yeah, like I like IPAs, but I like these sorts of IPAs. Yes.
SPEAKER_01So so if I'm saying in within the context of this group, I'm gonna say yit nay because of uh there are other ones I like in this group that are much better than that.
SPEAKER_02If you're at a beer fest and Breckenridge is there, uh-huh, you're gonna pick the next one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I mean, I would still try the juice drop again. Try it, but but I would probably uh still enjoy the other ones a little bit better. Okay, uh Ridge Runner. This no doubt in my mind, I want to find a pack of this. This is a yes.
SPEAKER_02Please share with me. That is a yay for me.
SPEAKER_01This is a yay for me, Aaron. Well, Aaron, if you're listening, please send us a 12-pack of just the Ridge Runner. Now we know. Uh, before we get out of here, are there any final thoughts on these beers? I personally I think I think this is a good example of IPAs. The the the juicy oas juicy oasis oasis? Man, English is hard. The juicy oasis one is a little bit out there compared to the other three, but I think the other three are fine examples of of IPAs in my mind.
SPEAKER_02I think they're they're really really well done on what they're trying to do on each of these. Like they you know they're not just yeah, they know what they're doing. They're not just throwing out any old recipe. They they've taken the time to hone these in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I agree with that. They know what they're doing, they've been around for a long time. Actually, in the in the craft brew scene.
SPEAKER_03Sure.
SPEAKER_00They were sort of, at least in this area, one of kind of the original craft breweries. Um, I remember having some of their stuff when I was in college, which was 20 years ago. Damon's old.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, yeah. The it's a it seems to be a high quality organization. Sure.
SPEAKER_01Well, uh, I I mean, hopefully we can do some more brewery groups in the future. Uh, but that's gonna do it for this episode of the opening cracks.
